Film projact, early days.......
Was talking to a good mate of mine and he's written a script for a TV drama or series pilot along the lines of The Sweeney. He's trying to get Longcross Ex MOD (now called Qinetiq) as a location, as there is a good private road layout and a lot of filming goes on there. It's not far from Guildford so West of London off the early part of the M3.
It will be set in the early to mid 1980s, and there's a blagging planned so guess who will be supplying the bullion van?
Would anybody be interested in being in on this, with their Grannies? Now, I don't normally do this, but as it's speculative the best I/we could offer is expenses like petrol money, so if you are not local ish maybe it's not for you.
There's no shoot date as yet, but it could well be a week end as there will be less going on then.
Any interest?

I might be interested, just hope they don't want any engine bay shots as the Cosworth was not around till the 90's

Well speaking as one who put a Durotorq powered Mk1 transit in the bank job, I don't think that will be a problem.

Now has a website, again still early days. Trying to get a producer interested, also might get some proper funding so won't have to ask for stuff for nothing!

Any thoughts?
You can register your car directly there, and there's a forum for comments and feedback. We are trying to generate interest, so a potential network or producer can't ignore potential viewers!

We are getting nearer funding for this! Still no dates yet, but I will let you know as soon as I know something. A commissioning editor for Channel 4 has showed interest.
