fuel pump issue Empty fuel pump issue

Hi
I have a strange problem
when i switch the indicators/headlamp flash, the fuel pump runs, just for a couple of seconds
it appears i have a volt drop of about 1 volt whenever I do either
and this triggers the pump relay !!! any ideas?, the battery is fully charged
