Newbie checking in!
Hello peeps! I have a Mk2, it's a Ford, and not a transit! She's a 1985 Ghia, badged up as an X by a previous owner. Having water pump issues at the moment (like I can't get a new one fitted cos the bolts sheared off) but hope to be back on the road soon.

Dear Desperate, I suggest you tell him all about you self and make sure he has coffee all the time. This will allow him to get on just great

Re: Newbie checking in!
Well I would, but the dog set the gas off and I didn't want to blow the house up. Does this mean I have to take the camping gas stove down to me storage?

Re: Newbie checking in!
One ring or two? We could have a fry up as well, I believe said mechanic likes healthy food.....
Re: Newbie checking in!
If you want, be good to have refreshments on handFredTransit wrote:Or the first granada forum meet? Am I catering now??
Re: Newbie checking in!
Well I do keep threatening to put a catering truck together, and have been known to end up making the drinks when on Low Budget shoots......
Re: Newbie checking in!
Why not? could be a nice little earner, got any suggestions on a venue for the first meet?
Re: Newbie checking in!
Apart from the Ace (and I don't think a snack wagon would be welcome there!) no idea, but will give it some thought.
Re: Newbie checking in!
a lot of car clubs/forums have meetings in pub car parks but like the ace i doubt they would be happy about a food wagon being on site, but if we do go somewhere where they serve food there's nothing to stop you setting up on the other side of the road
Re: Newbie checking in!
True. There was a pub in Ickenham I used to go to for a Cortina meet, just off the A40, and another in Denhem that might be OK with us meeting, want me to check?
