Hunting!!!!

The car started hunting last week. When i am in drive the rev counter goes between 100 rpm & 1000, when in park it is fine. Someone said is there an air leak? split pipe. Or can it be the fuel i put in? I am not sure if it is converted to unleaded, how can i find this out?

Have you tried cleaning out the jets in the carb? sounds like the same problem as one i had a few years ago it turned out to be blocked carb jets

Mine doing the same after i put some fuel in ,let you know what we find wrong

hi im new to this site but both of mine was doing that and i have 1 carb and 1 injection both 2.8's had it turned out it was a vacume proplem i had a pipe pop of the electric vacum pump thing on the bulk head by the coil and the injection someone had swapped the pipes over, all over the engine
