Uncle Muttley.
I have had my exhaust fixed and now the car is sounding good.......well until I got a knocking noise from the front n/s wheel area (your o/s.its a lefthooker) any ideas???
maybe I should put old blown exhaust back on. Wink

Sounds like the front pipe is knocking against something. Check where the pipe goes under the car as it passes body work, g/box etc and see if it is too close.

had only the back box section replaced. knocks every turn off the wheel untill she settles into drive then I cant hear anything? Any ideas?

Did they struggle to remove the old box? Its possible they have moved the whole system and now its hitting somewhere, most likely by the spare wheel bulge under the rear.

not sure ? I hope that is the problem.Iv just got this feeling it might be the drive shaft.Im not that mechanically minded but I think I remember somebody telling me that they are prone to D/S coz they are heavy up front?I have no ramps or acess to a ramp so it looks like a high kerb.Fingers crossed your right.
