Mk2 Police car - Ashes to Ashes SOLD!

Had a call today about the police car, was offered it but they keep saying make me an offer, so I thought I would post it here. It's actually the wrong model for a cop car, or at least it has Ghia wheels, that I do know. Still liveried up. I don't have a good pic of it, but I will see if I can find it on IMCDB or get you a screen shot. As far as I know it has no test, but it's a tidy car and was on the road when they bought it. Blue lights included!

It looks like a Ghia to me, you can see the fake wood capping on the passenger door card and they must have removed the rear head rests to make it look less "Ghia like"

Removing the rear headrests is quite common for film work, it's so they can have a clear line of sight for a shot. Mine didn't have headreats for months! The Police never had Ghias, as the toys were not worth the Met and others paying for!

The police had specially built 2.8 L models which were not available to the public, big engine for speed and no toys, i think the only extras they had were central locking and boot popper and a zip in the rooflining for the Blue light wires, seen a couple of them at shows

Dont know if this Police Granny still availble. Id happily swap it for my 2.8 82 Ghia X Estate T&T in excellent cond.

As yet I haven't had a straight answer on this! As far as I know it's still available, but I know they don't want a swap (unless I end up with it!). Remember it's a mock car, not a real ex service car.

If you find out what they want for it can you let me know. My granny is up for sale and i would love this car. I accept its not a real one, but Im an Ashes to ashes fan. Regards Nick
